Quick Tips

  • The protective lens is a consumable: replace it as soon as burn marks, spatter spots or contamination appear — do not wait until the focusing lens is affected.
  • Clean with pure isopropyl alcohol and an optical cloth, wipe center to edge, never touch the glass.
  • Welding aluminum or galvanized steel? Use minimum power, strengthen shielding gas, and check the lens more frequently.

How to Choose the Right Size

Size Typical use
18×2 mm Compact handheld heads, 1–1.5 kW class
20×2 mm Q-head (dual wobble), most common, 1.5–2 kW class
20×3 / 20×4 mm Standard heads — thicker, longer service life
30×5 mm High-power / large-aperture heads, 3 kW and above

Confirm the size from your old lens or the lens seat inner diameter, and select the grade matching your machine's power output.

FAQ

Q: How do I know which size my torch needs?

A: Check the old lens — the size is marked as diameter × thickness (e.g., 20×2). Or measure the inner diameter of the lens seat with a caliper.

Q: Can it be used on different torch brands?

A: Yes. Lenses of the same size can be used across torch brands within the same power range; for different power levels, choose the corresponding power-rated grade.

Q: How often should it be replaced?

A: It depends on material and gas protection — every few hours in heavy aluminum/galvanized welding, days or longer in clean conditions. Replace at the first sign of burn marks.

Q: Do you offer OEM / wholesale?

A: Yes. OEM/ODM and bulk supply are available — contact us for pricing and lead time.
