Before the Investment:

With multiple laser machines of different power levels, the customer required high stability and adaptability of assist gas.

Traditional gas supply could not fully meet the needs of various thicknesses and power settings, leading to unstable cutting quality, oxidation on cut surfaces, slag adhesion, and higher gas costs.

After the Investment:

After installing the FCP Fine Cutting Series mixed-gas system, cutting quality improved significantly.
Cut surfaces became cleaner, oxidation and slag were greatly reduced, and cutting speed and stability increased.
The system provides precise N₂–O₂ ratios based on laser power and material thickness, delivering a stable, efficient, and economical gas solution for multi-machine, high-power, and full-thickness cutting.

FCP Series Products Introduction:

Mixed gas cutting employs a specific ratio of nitrogen-oxygen mixture as the laser assist cutting gas, leveraging the advantages of

each component gas (nitrogen for high-speed cutting and oxygen for burr-free cutting) by combining them into a single cutting stream.

This method enables rapid cutting with minimal burrs, significantly improving the cutting quality for medium-to-thick low-carbon steel

and aluminum alloys while achieving higher cutting speeds than pure nitrogen. The burring issues encountered when using pure

nitrogen or air cutting a are minimized or eliminated.

Advantages of Mix-Gas Cutting:

● Improves cutting quality of ordinary steel, reducing burrs to <3% of material thickness.

● Higher surface finish compared to air cutting.

● Significantly increases cutting speed compared to oxygen cutting of high-power medium-thick carbon steel plates.

● Offers a cost advantage compared to liquid nitrogen cutting.
